Christopher (Chris) Johannes is the Director and Principal Solicitor of Halim Legal.
He has nearly a decade of experience in civil litigation, insurance disputes, and commercial disputes, including experience at leading national and international law firms.
Beyond his practice, Chris serves as Committee Member of the Indonesian Community of Lawyers in Australia (ICLAS), an organisation that promotes cross-jurisdictional understanding between Australia and Indonesia, supports community engagement, and contributes to the advancement of cultural diversity within the legal profession.

Pascal Alexander
Marketing Manager
Pascal Alexander leads marketing and communications at Halim Legal, helping the firm reach more clients through branding, digital strategy, and community engagement. With experience in digital marketing and client relations, he ensures a professional and supportive client journey from consultation to resolution.
He brings professional experience in digital marketing, communications, and business development enabling the firm to build strong relationships with individuals, businesses, and community partners.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from a prestigious university in London, United Kingdom, which strengthens his strategic approach to brand growth and client experience.

Jose Tjahono
Paralegal
Jose joined Halim Legal as a legal intern to gain experience and knowledge of Australian legal practice while developing professional skills in legal research, communication, and administration. With an academic background comprising a Bachelor of Laws from Indonesia and a Master of Laws from New Zealand, Jose ensures strong adaptability in supporting Halim Legal through his understanding of international legal systems, particularly those of Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Drawing on his prior experience as a corporate lawyer in Indonesia, Jose ensures the professionalism, analytical skills, adaptability, and administrative competence necessary to support Halim Legal operations. Guided by a commitment to using legal expertise to advance access to justice, Jose has also actively promoted it by providing pro bono legal assistance as a paralegal to economically disadvantaged individuals.
